Still another
significant new book
about dictionaries has come out:『日本語一〇〇年の鼓動―日本人なら知っておきたい国語辞典誕生のいきさつ』This marks at least the fifth new book about dictionaries published in Japan in the short life of Lexical Leavings. In bookstores I've noticed a few other, possibly new books about using English dictionaries, so the actual number may be higher. My impression is that a new book appears in English about dictionaries and aimed at the general reader only once every few years.
