Some words picked up today from the December issue of 噂の真相:
This refers to a pack of reporters hounding a news source; it is sometimes glossed as 集団的過熱取材. "Media scrum" is used in pretty much the same meaning in English, especially, it seems, in countries where rugby is popular.

Something done to attract attention or laughs.

A "reverse harem"--a situation in which a woman is surrounded by many men, such as an office where there is only one female worker.
